Term & Conditions

'The seller' refers to Kidscapes limited
'The buyer' refers to any legal entity purchasing from the seller.

Privacy
We respect your privacy, and take extreme care to protect your details. We do not sell or rent the information that you provide to us to any third party.

Ordering and payments
Ordering from Kidscapes is quick and easy using the shopping cart function online.

  • Payment is then by credit card, using the secured link through DPS, or by either phoning 027 3906400 or emailing sales@kidscapes.co.nz
  • If you do not have a credit card we do accept Cheques and Direct bank transfers. Please contact us at sales@kidscapes.co.nz to arrange.
  • Full payment must be received by the seller before the goods can be shipped to the buyer. All prices are GST inclusive.

Kidscapes Limited reserves the right to alter prices. The price confirmed at the time of ordering, however, will not be altered.

Out Of Stock Items
From time to time, things will be out of stock. Should this happen, we will be in contact immediately and notify you of this. You will have the choice to either cancel your order, choose an alternative product, or we can put your order on hold, pending the arrival of stock. If you have already paid for your goods by credit card your transaction will be reversed.

Delivery
Kidscapes charge a standard $ 6.00 flat courier fee/signitured -excludes furniture) New Zealand only. Quotes will be provided for furniture.

FREE-Gift wrapping & message card service available on request, just add your message on checkout.

The seller reserves the right to dispatch the buyer's order in one delivery or by installments. The buyer may cancel any undelivered installments.

Any quotations of delivery times by the seller are made in good faith but are estimates and the seller shall not be bound by such quotation.

The seller will select the method/type of delivery and free delivery will apply to this case. However if the buyer requests another method of delivery (eg Saturday or urgent delivery) and the seller agrees in writing then the buyer shall meet the cost of that delivery.

Goods leaving the seller's premises are adequately packed. Claims for damage or loss in transit must be made against the carrier in the prescribed manner.

Within 7 days of receipt of consignment, the buyer must ensure that all goods received are in good order and condition.

If there is a shortage in quantity, the buyer should notify the seller in writing, within 7 days of delivery, and allow the seller reasonable time to investigete the claim.

No claims will be considered after 7 days of receipt of goods. While no liability for goods damaged or lost in transit will be accepted, please advise us of any claim.

Overseas Customers
Please contact us on sales@kidscapes.co.nz for credit card payments and for a quote on international delivery.

Customs Requirements
All overseas gifts are accompanied by a Customs Declaration including a description of the contents and stating the cost as required by NZ Customs. Any additional import charges in the destination country are the recipient’s responsibility.

Exchanges
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Kidscapes.

However we understand that sometimes the goods you have ordered may not be quite right. If that is the case, we ask that you contact us via e-mail; sales@kidscapes.co.nz so that we can resolve the problem by offering you an exchange of goods or a credit note to be used for future purchases from Kidscapes. Please note that no refund will be given for non faulty goods.

Contact must be made within 48 hours of receipt of the goods and the goods must be returned within 7 days of receipt unused and in their original packaging. Postage and packaging charges are not refundable.  

If an item is found to be faulty, please contact us via e-mail; sales@kidscapes.co.nzwithin 48 hours so that we can discuss the problem. Any faulty items must be returned to us within 7 days of receipt of the goods with labels and packaging intact. On approval of the fault, you will be given a full refund.

Modifications and improvements to the seller's products are constantly being made. Also, the seller relies on information from its suppliers and product manufacturers. Descriptions, illustrations and literature are therefore not binding on the seller. If the goods do not match the description on the seller's website, the buyer should inform the seller immediately so that the seller may take appropriate action.
